This two-story structure maximizes usability for the homeowner. The first floor serves as a flexible space that can function as a gym or entertainment room, complete with a sauna and a full bathroom. The second floor features a bright, open bedroom and a full bathroom. This ADU is a peaceful retreat at the end of the day and the first stop to greet the morning light.
From exterior to interior, every detail reflects the simplicity and refinement of modern architecture. The abstract, minimalist white volume is softened by the warmth of natural wood, creating an atmosphere that is both contemporary and inviting.
Each level includes a spacious terrace, while floor-to-ceiling windows and large sliding glass doors create a seamless flow between indoors and outdoors. The use of natural wood allows the space to coexist harmoniously with its surroundings, and expansive windows draw the California sunlight inside—composing a symphony of light and shadow throughout the day.
