Jessica Wang
Founder & Design Partner
Jessica Wang is the Founder and Design Partner of Vision Architects, leading the firm’s design vision across custom and luxury single-family residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use projects. A registered architect in California and Illinois, she received her Master of Architecture from UCLA and Bachelor of Engineering from Tongji University. Prior to founding Vision Architects, Jessica worked with SOM and BIG, contributing to projects across America, Europe, and Asia. Under her design leadership, Vision Architects’ work has received international recognition across more than 25 projects, including the Red Dot Design Award, A+ Design Award, and Platinum and Gold honors from the Rome, London, French, and Tokyo Design Awards, with award-winning works including The Cliff House, Desert House, Seasons Pavilion, Terrace House, and Vineyard Nomad. Through her leadership, Jessica continues to shape Vision Architects as a design-driven practice defined by aesthetic sensibility, technical rigor, and a commitment to creating lasting value for people and place.
Ben Refuerzo
Consulting Partner
Ben Refuerzo is Consulting Partner at Vision Architects and Professor Emeritus at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design, bringing decades of architectural practice, research, teaching, and design leadership to the studio. He previously served as Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture, further extending his leadership across architectural education and academic administration. A graduate of UC Berkeley and Principal Architectural Designer of R-2ARCH, his work has received numerous national honors, including multiple Progressive Architecture Awards, American Institute of Architects Awards, and an ACSA Award for Excellence in Architectural Design. At Vision Architects, Ben provides design counsel and critical perspective, strengthening the intellectual foundation of the practice while guiding projects toward solutions that are both architecturally ambitious and socially responsive.
Andy Lin
Technical Partner
Andy Lin is Technical Partner at Vision Architects, bringing over 30 years of experience in architectural design, construction documentation, and project delivery. Educated at USC and National Cheng Kung University, he previously held senior design roles with A+K International and Hazens Group and is a registered architect in Taiwan. At Vision Architects, Andy provides firm-wide technical leadership, establishing documentation standards, directing QA/QC, and providing technical oversight across complex projects from design development through construction documentation. Drawing on decades of professional experience, he works closely with project teams to resolve technical challenges, strengthen constructability, and ensure that architectural intent is carried consistently into precise, coordinated, and high-quality project documentation.
Graham Wei
Senior Project Manager
Graham Wei is Senior Project Manager at Vision Architects, leading project coordination and delivery while also supporting the firm’s operations, financial planning, staffing, and talent recruitment. His interdisciplinary background combines civil engineering studies at Jiaotong University and Duke University with advanced studies in real estate and business at UCLA Anderson School of Management, giving him a well-rounded perspective on people and project management. Graham works closely with clients, consultants, the firm’s leadership, and design teams to coordinate resources, budgets, schedules, and project priorities from early design through delivery. In addition to managing three project managers and overseeing multiple projects, he contributes to team development and operational strategy, helping Vision Architects improve efficiency and support the firm’s continued growth.
Bland Yin
Technical Manager & BIM Specialist
Bland Yin is Technical Manager & BIM Specialist at Vision Architects, drawing on extensive experience in construction documentation, BIM coordination, and field practice. With over 10 years of work experience and a background in civil and structural Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, his early career included construction management with China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau before transitioning into architectural practice in California. At Vision Architects, Bland leads the day-to-day production and coordination of construction documents, managing a technical drawing team of more than 10 designers and engineers. As a certified BIM specialist, Bland leads the firm’s BIM implementation and Revit workflows while mentoring and developing the next generation of technical talent. He plays a key role in strengthening the team’s BIM capabilities, improving production efficiency, and advancing a collaborative and highly coordinated approach to project delivery.
Emory Zhang
Permit Specialist
Emory Zhang is a Permit Specialist at Vision Architects, bringing over five years of experience in permit processing and agency coordination, and specializing in navigating complex entitlement, HOA review, plan-check, and permitting processes across Southern California jurisdictions. With a background in architecture, urban planning, and community development at USC, he brings a strong understanding of how design, zoning requirements, building regulations, and agency procedures intersect throughout the approval process. Emory coordinates closely with HOA review boards, planning departments, building and safety agencies, consultants, and project teams to identify approval requirements, manage correction cycles, and maintain momentum from initial submittal through permit issuance. His systematic approach to agency coordination and regulatory research helps Vision Architects move projects through increasingly complex permitting environments with clarity, efficiency, and precision.
